The ZOLL AED Plus is a Full-Rescue automated external defibrillator that supports both CPR and defibrillation. Graphical illustrations on the unit show the steps to follow and combine with Text Displays and comprehensive Voice Prompts, to help the rescuer perform every important life-saving action, every step of the way.
Zoll AED Plus features Real CPR Help technology to help the rescuer achieve the correct rate and depth of chest compressions during CPR, through visual and voice prompts. Feedback such as ‘PUSH HARDER’ & ‘GOOD COMPRESSIONS’ along with an adaptive metronome (beat) to guide compression rate, help accomplish quality compressions.
CPR Feedback
CPR is important to successful resuscitation. In emergency situations, untrained and older people have difficulty with the mechanics of CPR and especially the compression depth required to undertake effective, vital CPR.
Studies show that CPR Effectiveness can be substantially improved (around 30%) with the use of CPR Feedback technology built into defibrillators, which provides prompts to “push harder/faster” and “good compressions” (100 minute).

This very handy LCD Display shows Text Messages corresponding to the Voice Prompts, Elapsed Time, No. of Shocks Delivered and a bar graph that shows the Depth of every CPR Chest Compression undertaken.
