- Ongoing system maintenance has been time-consuming and error-prone—until now. The Lifepak CR2 allows 24/7 visibility on the status of your AED through an online portal. Access to the online portal is free of charge and will transmit email alerts if the status of your device (or devices) changes. Alerts reported by the CR2 include ‘Device in Use‘, ‘Device Not Ready‘ & “Device Location Changed‘.
- 3G WiFi connectivity ensures that no matter where the device (or devices) are located, they can be remotely monitored. Remote monitoring eliminates the need to physically check the AED, ensuring the device is ready to be deployed at any time.
A simple Two-Step process involves turning the device On and applying Pads to the victim’s bare chest. The defibrillator then takes over, undertaking heart-rhythm analysis and delivering shocks if required.
Fully Automatic operation – once the Pads are attached, the CR2 Essential only delivers a shock if it determines a shock is necessary. No need to push a Shock Button. The device lets responders know when a victim is about to be shocked and to stand clear.
Conducts weekly and monthly Automated Self-Tests. Initialisation tests are conducted each time that it is powered on, plus concurrent tests throughout the time the device is in operation.
