Oxygen Regulators are designed to reduce the high pressure of an oxygen cylinder to a low pressure that can be safely used for delivering a flow of oxygen to a casualty either directly via an oxygen therapy face mask, bag-valve-mask or a closed circuit/re-breather system.
Target Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) should be between 94-98% in normal situations.
